Jack Trlica is a partner in Contact, Inc., primarily responsible for managing LossPrevention magazine, the first trade publication focused on retail LP professionals. Prior to launching the magazine in 2001, Jack was associated with Pinkerton for eight years, where he built an award-winning creative department that produced innovative internal awareness programs for retailers and corporations focusing on loss prevention, safety, security, and ethics and compliance issues. |
Jack has written and spoken on educating and motivating employees using internal communications techniques as well as current issues in loss prevention at the Food Marketing Institute Loss Prevention Conference, National Retail Federation Loss Prevention Conference, and MIS SuperStrategies Audit Conference.
Jack’s professional career in both Fortune 500 as well as entrepreneurial small businesses has been driven by his ability to create innovative solutions to business challenges spanning multiple industries. He has proven highly effective at providing strategic organizational leadership by linking people and ideas to optimize business success.
After graduation from The University of Texas at Austin with a liberal arts degree, Jack began his professional career as Managing Editor of an award-winning newspaper. His initial corporate experience came from eight years with Texas Instruments Inc., where he held positions in both marketing communications and product marketing in Austin, Toronto, and Johnson City, Tennessee.
